Social Program

 

    Health Initiatives Association is targeting orphaned, vulnerable, HIV children and other marginalised groups by offering help mainly with education support. Children who has no access to basic education can be enrolled under HIA social program.

HIA social program offers children payment of school fees, school requirements (e.g. school uniform, shoes) and supervision of social worker. 

Health Initiatives Association manage the Education support through sponsors - Individuals who are willing to regularly donate money for education of potecial applicants. The majority of HIA sponsors comes from Europe.

    Already 47 clients were enrolled under HIA social program by the end of September 2013. The majority of them have been supported by payment of school fees and school requirements. There are also clients supported in specialized medical or diagnostic intervention. Some clients are supported for transport costs for regular check up by doctor at HIA clinic. Single support for emergency situation (food support, transport, X-ray, admission to hospital) was provided 89 times in this one year of HIA existance.
